The Polish Association for Integrative Psychotherapy (PTPI) is the first organization registered in Poland which associates psychotherapists who have integrated different approaches in psychotherapy for several years.

PTPI sets standards for training and certification of psychotherapists who want to focus on integrative modality.

PTPI is a professional organization of psychotherapists, who, in their attitude towards their profession, intend to step beyond limits of particular psychotherapeutic approach.

PTPI disseminates knowledge of new psychotherapy methods and knowledge arising from clinical experience caring about their scientific verification.

Integrative approach as a scientific approach is based on empirical verification of not only the already existing but also the newly established directions in psychotherapy.

To create and strengthen psychotherapy as a profession and a scientific discipline is an important goal of the Association. The status of psychotherapy being concurrently a medical profession and a humanistic one, its requirement for high standards of training, practices and ethics, and the awareness that psychotherapy practised at a high level becomes art are factors that bring a particular dimension to psychotherapy. The Association is a member of the European Association for Psychotherapy and through its activities makes it possible for the Polish psychotherapists to become part of the international community. The Polish Association for Integrative Psychotherapy is not a mass organization and its program is addressed to active professionals who take the values of their profession seriously.
